Very good points. Yes the media is very good at manipulating our opinions. The real shortcoming in the entire region isn't a desire for stability by the majority, it's the desire for instability by a fanatical minority. Unfortunately all the "good will" and $'s from the US or any other country can't negate that basic fact. The majority will either continue to put up with the radical minority, or they will rise up (themselves) and demand change. I'm not sure they will do the later, or we can wait long enough for that to happen. It's time for us to pack our bags and leave.
