He was acquitted. But obviously, in order to claim entrapment, you pretty much have to admit that you did what they say you did. BUT they unfairly entrapped you.

It was a huge operation, and parts of it were badly bungled. Mark Valentine, who was a very bad guy, got off pretty much scot free. Though Thomson Kernaghan, which he ran at the time, at least showed him the door. He was involved with IFTA as well.
