The world is taking close note of what a few unorganized, under-equipped, poorly trained but highly motivated individuals can do to a military built on the back of half a trillion dollars a *year* in spending. They are doing to the US what their predecessors did to the Soviets in Afghanistan.

This is a disaster of the future of US security.
