Is Sharon a jewish "person". Yes. Is Sharon "all the jewish people"? No he is not. A lot of jewish people voted for Labor because they disagree with Sharon. A lot of AMerican jews oppose SHaron's policies as well. In fact my views are exactly the same as a jewish israeli soldier. So are you calling him a anti-semite? Are you calling every jew who doesn't agree with Sharon's policies an anti-semite? Somewhere along the line you confuse your view and a politician's policies and you equate them to ALL THE JEWISH PEOPLE. That is NOT so. Not ALL jewish people agree with Sharon policies like all American people do not agree with Bush's policies. In fact you are in the minority with Americans who agree with Bush based on the latest polls. So just because someone has an issue with a political person's policies it does not mean that political person represents ALL of the people and their views.

As far as being one-sided, you must be talking about your messages, as I have always been in favor of a jewish state and Israel's right to exist and I have stated so here many times, yet I have yet to see any positive messages from you on the slaughter of the Palestinian and Iraqi people. I guess then by your definition of equating your view to a whole population, they would have to label you hateful and racist and anti-iraqi, anti-arab, anti-muslim, anti-french, anti-north korean, etc... (you get the idea which I know it isn't so).

So I think some of you need to step back before you make vitriolic comments (and I consider "vitriolic", comments that are directed personally, versus "labels" of politicians and their policies), just because you see labels of certain politicians that you happen to agree with their policies, but you automatically base any dissent as an absolute dissent towards a whole population. I have a right to my views as you have a right to your views. I'm not like ikay70 who says "nobody should criticise the president and if you do you are this and that". In fact I expect you to put a person like that in his place when you see comments like that instead of standing silent. So try not to take labels and comments personally and equate them to a whole population when a politician and their policy is being opposed and debated.
