LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Motorsports promoter International Speedway Inc. said third-quarter net profit slipped 46% to $36.8 million, or 69 cents a share, while revenue rose 7.5% at $167 million. Its year-ago result was boosted by a 68 cents a share gain from the sale of North Carolina Speedway's assets, and the EPS topped Thomson First Call-compiled analyst forecasts of 65 cents a share. The company said it had a record quarter for revenue on broadcast rights fees and media-related revenue.
