most of the microchips that DLA buys is actually mfr'd out of country. U.S. has business tax rate of 30%, top of the list for business taxes worldwide, why IBM, etc., has their microchips made in Mexico. That's where the biggest counterfeiting problem comes from. Very few chips made stateside.
