Interview mit Yaacov Shoham, CEO Identa Corp.
Vor fast genau einem Jahr haben wir Ihnen die Aktien von Identa Corp., einem israelischen
Forschungsunternehmen zum Kauf empfohlen. In der Zwischenzeit notieren die in den USA
gehandelten Papiere ein Vielfaches höher. Letzte Woche stand uns nun der CEO persönlich,
Yaacov Shoham, Red und Antwort. Das Interview (in Englisch) sowie eine Kurzanalyse finden

stockalert: Sehr geehrter Herr Shoham, erzählen Sie uns bitte etwas über Ihre Person und die
Geschichte Ihres Unternehmens.
Shoham: The Company was established by Mr. Baruch Glattstein and Yaacov Shoham. Both
of us are retired from the Israeli Police Department. We have retired as Chief Super Intendents.
Baruch Glattstein was one of the scientists of the Forensic Department, Yaacov Shoham has his
background in management and in computer science.
Bis vor einem Jahr war Identa hierzulande praktisch völlig unbekannt - ein Underdog. Was geschah,
dass die kleine Identa heute unter hohen Handelsvolumen zum zehnfachen Wert von damals
gehandelt wird?
In the last year we have been able to understand the markets, we have researched the potential of our products .
Our products are aimed for the legal law enforcement and for the consumer-retail market also. We are the only
company in the world (as far as we know) that posseses the unique products with a definite answer on the spot.
Our products are definite on a laboratory level on the field. This is a big advantage because in the markets like
schools, working place, parents etc. we can give the right answer in a short time with a cheap and easy to use solution.
All other "competitors" are only presumming about the existence of drug. It is necessary with their products to go to a
laboratory. That is the reason why the "competitors" are active presentily only in the police departments.
The police is able to send the pressumptive test to the laboratory for a final decision. They are not able to give a
definite answer on the spot - what we can do! To make it more clear , we decided to make our efforts in the different
markets and to take the advantage that in some market -sectors the market is absolutely open only for us.
Ist es möglich, dass ein grösseres Unternehmen bereits an Identa interessiert ist? An wen denken Sie da
beispielsweise?
Yes, for sure. It could be a large company involved in the homeland security business or in health care.
Wo sehen Sie das grösste Wachstumspotential in den kommenden 2 bis 3 Jahren? Und wie interessant
ist China für Ihr Unternehmen?
We think that the penetration in the USA and in western european countries in the next years will make
our business to be a success. We are also in a beginning to enter the China market , but it is a completely
different one with a different structure. It is a matter of time to make it possible to penetrate also the China
market - a huge one . They've got also a big drug problem especially with the heroin comming from Afghanistan.
Japan is another market been watch by us today with our new detector for "Speed" .
Japan is on our agenda. We have started allready a business connection with a Japanese company.
Die Aktien von Identa sind in den USA derzeit sehr gefragt. Erwägen Sie auch ein Listing in Europa?
Not for the next time. We are looking first to make our marketing and sales penetration in many markets
and sectors. When we will be succesful we will be able to listing our company in other countries.
Was denken Sie über die kürzliche, erfreuliche Entwicklung des Aktienpreises?
I would like to see the share price growing steadily and not jumping. The last development in our share price
reflects the developments in marketing and sales in the last year. In my opinion we are still undervalued, I can
not say precisely where the share price should be today.

You are right about the financial situation of Identa. The company has no debts, we are making sales - still in
the several hundreds of USD but our perspective for the year 2006 is to be in a few millions USD. This is not
only our dream, it is based on our marketing plan and connections. We will file our financial reports in a few
months, we are looking to file it quartely beginning with the first quarter of 2006.
Identa hat das Potential, eines Tages ein grosses Unternehmen darzustellen. Wie sehen Ihre Pläne aus, um
zu diesem ehrgeizigen Ziel zu gelangen?
The market in our opinion is a big one. I want to say it about all the regional and sectors markets. One example
that may give an indication about the potential our products: In the USA you can find about 16 million addicts to
the different kind of illicit drugs. Developing this virgin market with our products can give you an imagination about
the possible growth of our company. Our products as far as we know the markets are needed in more than 100 countries
and in many sectors (police, custom, border police, schools, parents, etc.).
Welche spezifischen Risiken bestehen hingegen in Ihrer Branche?
The only specific risk in my opinion is in the marketing area . We are already on the market with our products but we
need to increase our efforts to market and sale. We are trying and working hard to do it, every day or week we do have new connections in different countries. In europe we are developing strong connections inthe last months in France, Italy, Benelux.
Wie sieht die Aktienstruktur bei Identa aus?
Most of the shares are in the hands of the founders (85%). The rest is traded in the public.
Warum sollte ein europäischer Investor gerade Ihre Aktien ins Depot nehmen?
Every investor has to see what is behind the symbol IDTA. We have new and unique products, sales allready , a lot of new connections in many different countries and sectors, a plant in Jerusalem, no competitors at all in the consumer-retail market.
It is a neccesity of our products, using our products can save a lot of money for the law enforcement agencies ( they may eliminate the laboratory tests or at least a big part of them). I am not predicting what will be the share price in 18-24 months , but it seems likely that we are going to be much higher taking in consideration what i have explained above.
Kurzanalyse
Bei unserer Ersteinschätzung im vergangenen Oktober notierte die Aktie von Identa bei 0,0016 US-Dollar. Damals
nannten wir 0,005 Dollar als Kursziel und nach einer etwas längeren Seitwärtsphase übertraf die Aktie das
gesetzte Ziel in diesem Sommer sogar um einiges. Wir sind nach einigen Gesprächen mit Herr Shoham sehr optimistisch
gestimmt und raten die Aktie mit "strategisch kaufen". Ein Kursziel nennen wir nicht. Sollten Sie weitere Informationen
