Are you watching level 2 today? I can't explain it. Yesterday's PR should have crushed investor confidence in PPHM. Who in their right mind is buying PPHM today? I'm an uber PPHM bull and even I was scratching my head, drunk after yesterday's press release. 50 million shares!?! WTF! Makes no sense. None. This soap opera keeps getting better (or worse) every day.

I'm thinking one of two things. First, if they need money to pay back their recent loan or if it gets called they may dilute if the data errors are not salvageable and this is just a pump to limit the dilution. This is a worst case scenario but a possibility and I've made some hedges using options to limit downside risk. I don't think its likely given the volume.

The other possibility IMO is that the data is, indeed, still able to be used and whoever is buying today knows that. If a potential partner wanted to meet PPHM's offer and was buying 50 million shares over the past 2 days, it would be a lot easier to stomach a 500 million up front payment to PPHM if their stock purchase increase substantially when a partnership is announced.
