No. Regardless of whether the kits are on shelves on Friday or not, going to random drug stores wherever you live is a complete waste of time and money. More than likely, there will be no kits on shelves.
Is your sell order in at market? Your broker and market makers are obligated to sell your shares at what is determined to be "market", so if that's the case, you need to be yelling at your broker. If you're selling them at a limit, then you only have yourself to blame. You're obviously asking too much for your shares.
You can always have your broker remove them from your account as worthless and just take the write off on the whole thing.
I find it interesting that you would decide to sell rather than to hold through this "definitive" date. It's not like you stand to lose that much more. Especially since nobody wants IDTA at any price.
