Not all of them really operate outside the States (or Canada), but they seem to have taken to doing at least some of their banking offshore. And they make liberal use of foreign addresses, often invented, for their "owners", who are also often made up. And there's a new fad, thanks to APS, for using internet hosts all over the world.
