Dear dizzy,
Rather than explore the present situation,
please tell me what the present situation would now be
if 50 years ago the United States did NOT engage Israel
as it did, but ignored the Jewish State and did not support it
with money and weapons and protection.
But then rather than you make up a fairy tale of a story
where everyone lived happly ever after, let me suggest
that the Iraq we all saw develop from the sale of oil
which was used to create a military strength that included
weapons of mass destruction, that if this was allowed to this day,
while Israel had none of that United States support you cry foul,
then today the state of Israel would not exist, and its clear that
the manner it would have been "erased" by Iraq would not be
any fairy tale of a story you would suggest, but a horror show
that would, using your words "offensive to human kind."
But then i get the impression that that would be o.k. with you.
