The FOMC's policy decision is due out at 12:30 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, followed by the release of the group's economic forecasts at 2:00 p.m. and a press conference with Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke at 2:15. Also on the day's docket is the producer price index (PPI), plus the regularly scheduled report on weekly jobless claims -- along with earnings from Analogic (ALOG), China Finance Online (JRJC), and Pier 1 Imports (PIR).
