See my previous post. Windows System Restore is NOT the same as a true imaging system (like EAZ Fix) that takes a complete and total image of your hard drive.

EAZ Fix also operates in pre-boot mode before the OS loads so you can access it outside of windows. It creates a partition so that your entire OS runs in the partition and is totally protected from ANY type of software error or changes that affect your system. And you can access this right after your Bios loads so that you can easily recover from any crash or malware infection... including those that affect your boot records.
