hoof: NeoMedia has no patent rights exclusively on 2D codes. None. Where do you get this stuff?

NeoMedia claims "data carrier modulated with an index" which is 1D, 2D, or even 3D (such as MICROSOFT Tag). It would be immensely helpful to everyone if you could support your posts with links and language as I repeatedly done. Otherwise, you have an unsustainable position to repeatedly and often say some version of, "this is not true."

Claim 1 of '048 NeoMedia patent:

"1. (Currently amended) A method of connecting a user computing device to one of a plurality of remote information computers available for communication over a network comprising:
a) reading with a user computing device a data carrier modulated with an index;...

The '048 patent has been a part of every NeoMedia licensing agreement including eBay, Neustar, Scanbuy, Mobile Tag, and Microsoft.
