Janice, When this whole mess with BCIT happened and after we got sued, I prepared a package complete with exhibits and timelines about what happend.. I sent them to my elected reps and one to 60 Minutes, Leslie Stahl.. shortly after I sent that packet, my main brokerage started adverstising on their show.. there's no justice right now.. the banks/corporations own our congress and political system.. and they can buy off any media outlet that gets to aggressive... Ps - my elected reps sent my packages to the SEC.. you can guess where they ended up... so much for representation.. I even sent a packet to my state board that handles these kinds of things.. at first they declined to take on the case, then another person from my state sent in a complaint and they took it on.. only to contact the SEC who said to them to send them my info packet, and that effectively stopped any further investigation at the state level.. it seems lots of people are more concerned with building relationships with the banks/brokerages than overseeing their actions like they're supposed to.. even at the state levels.. they're all looking out for their own career development... something is terribly wrong in our political system of oversight.. its broken and it was broken deliberately so the oversight agencies can be privatized.. does anybody really believe a privatized oversight service is going to be more diligent about oversight than a 3 rd party gov agency could have been in different times (when oversight agencies stood for something)...
