I have read Zytiga generic in 2015/2016 time frame for quite some time from other sources

Well the April 2016 NCE date is the earliest possible, so 2015 is certainly out.

The patent was filed in 1997:

So I think the actual date will be 2014 plus whatever extension they get - I assume the full 5 years given the abiraterone IND was filed in December 2005. So that is consistent with the 2019 date. I think all these rumors about early generics were likely from people that didn't understand what they were talking about.
