Why is this important NS?
The daily short report is usless unless those shares show up on the Bi monthly report. Most trades on the daily report are listed as short because MM's don't carry an unlimited number of shares to trade for every stock on a daily basis. When any trade you place is routed by your broker to an MM that doesn't own shares, your trade is still filled within seconds, but the MM who sold you shares finds them within minutes from another MM. Perhaps you want MM's to locate shares before they fill your trade, but of course, your trade will be delayed until those shares are found which will result in a much higher PPS while you wait for your order to be filled.
