Bloated PIGS - this is something that AD brought up the other day and Helms posted the link. I really think that this is something we really need to pay attention to. I see AD hit them time and time again. Maybe Helms has more info on this.
Getting back to education, when I say something is a "bloated pig" and one reason something may make it in the AD doghouse is a simple formula - if it has more than 10 bil mrkt cap and is selling for more than 10 times sales, it makes the list and I like to play only the down side. They may continue up still, but too dangerous to play that side. let me know if you want to discuss this further....
Here is a post that tells 1 way they can become an AD bloated pig - simple formula:
Now some may have a somewhat justified reason for being so out of line, but most do not. It is NOT the only reason they can make it into my "doghouse" and timing for the big move down can be tough - so I normally play puts or go short repeatedly, but normally only when the mrkt looks to sour and hope by doing so repeatedly that I can catch it at some point for the big move down. TA will also give us clues that others are finally seeing things as we do, and good to jump in then as well.
