In my opinion, I don't think SYNC is positioned for a takeover/buyout at this time. The offer would have to be well worth it to get consensus. Synacor has an all-star executive team that are going to build the company through research & development as well as acquisition. They are now hiring 30 senior level positions. Hiring is a very good leading indicator.
Actually, my sister is a corp. lawyer who does these takeovers and buyouts now and then, so I have some curiousity as to what takes place when they happen.
