You did trade with the suffix character "D" correct? Those shares were not halted were they?
I believe the 'd' is just to keep the new issue straight with brokers and all agencies until the new name is finalized, as the old name with the D is just a token for record keeping. I don't believe cgfia will be halted during the transition.
