After this I'm out for the night. I guess I wasn't clear. There is not a trading halt. Just how long it takes your broker to send the certs to the TA and then the TA send the new certs back to your broker.

I just went through one and had my new shares in my acct in about 10 days. But some waited 6 weeks. Those were the scottraders. They suck BTW They are always the last, except for zecco.

But you can always buy new shares from the 31st on, and once you get your shares you can; sell them or hold or add to them.

But the Float will be thin at first. MMs usually get their shares first for their customers. Not because of anything else except that they get right on top of these things, faster than most brokerages.

I'm out for tonight........To get updates from your broker; Call them and ask for Corporate Actions Dept.

If I got it right; "That's my one for the year!" If this had been an actual trading emergency you would have been instructed "TO NOT LISTEN TO ME!" There is no substitute for your own DD!!!
