Mlsoft, No, abortion is not specifically mentioned in the Constitution. But civil liberties are, and within the scenario I posted, regulation and enforcement would post serious questions regarding those civil liberties. I think you are an intelligent person so there no need to discuss the civil liberties issue, graphically. It is for these reasons, and others, that I don't think we will see abortion banned, criminalized, or Roe v. Wade overturned.

I agree with you that abortion is a horrible thing, but I would never "judge" - especially in the case of abortion. I think it is an issue of moral conscience, specific to the individual and their personal situation - for a myriad of reasons.....

Here's an interesting question to consider: Why is it that the overwhelming majority of woman (particularly those of "child-bearing age") favor the "right to choose" ("moral conscience", privacy - between dr & pt, etc) over the strict "pro-life" position? Why are the overwhelming majority of staunch pro-lifer's (overturn Roe v. Wade, etc) white males?..... Do you think that woman tend to be less moral, or of lesser moral conscience, or maybe selfish - when it come to the issue of abortion, in particular??... Or is it possible that woman view the ENTIRE issue from a completely different, and reasonable perspective? Could it be that woman have a deeper, more profound understanding of the whole issue? Regardless, this disconnect is VERY significant to the issue.... It's the heart of the issue.....
