Your first paragraph, though you jest, is actually mostly correct. You said..

That is how the free market works. Company A provides a good or services to Company B for what is called "consideration". In layman's terms, "consideration" is a form of payment that in theory has equal value to the good or service provided.

While I will agree that company B must provide their own analysts to interpret the service provided by Company A, you make it sound like company B will also have to do all of the legwork that Company A provides in the first place. If that were the case, I also would not have much faith in Company B completing the work in an accurate and timely fashion. AS that is not Company B's area of expertise. But not to worry, that is why Company A was hired in the first place.
