Well, here is the picture...

when all else fails , make pies. I made pecan and cherry pies

Son and his best friend are sitting in lawn chairs in the front yard to watch the storm come in- yes, it is pitch black out there....

All the laundry is clean, house is clean,- kitchen is a wreck and we have 2 extra teenagers...You would think it is just another day...LOL...
I think we are going to miss what might have been. all we have to contend with is minor compared to those getting the brunt of the storm...

Thanks for all of the thought and well wishes- wish you could come over for pie and coffee!
