Of course solar is here to stay.
When I was in Germany it is common.
This doesn`t mean that all companies will survive of course.
With my power bill averaging $0.14/Kw-h + taxes I am already starting to see solar heating panels in my area.
Net metering is also available but the cost of install, decreased government incentives and less average sunlight in my area has many on the side lines for installing solar power panels.
SSOL must cut expenses to be profitable where ever they can. Some of these companies in the link below appear to be private, how are they surviving if they can`t rely on printing shares, Increasing Authorized and Reverse Splitting their share holders?
Who needs a link to prove they are losing money? Just look at a 10-k and they are losing money, who cares what is creating the debt, they are spending more each month than they are taking in. What happens if you do that with your own household finances?
This link shows solar stats from various companies in the Irvine County area. I assume the costs to be correct, this is a .gov (California) website. SSOL seems to be in the middle, they can`t raise costs to be competitive IMO.
They appear mid range in pricing per watt.
