i was gone for a few days and came back to read this post of yours. forgive me if i'm wrong, but that post definately does not look like a promising future for erhc and i know you want to be positive, but it really looks bleak in your own words.

What is "bleak" about my post? I mention some possible good results like Griffiths and CPC and give some cost and time periods that led to these results.

I then listed some of the increased risks that come with the increased opportunity of the EEZ, Chad and Kenya. There are always risks and it is a mistake IMO to only look at the potential and ignore the very real and well known risks.

I think a lot of this happened prior to the JDZ and a big part of this was an absence of realistic risk assessment and understanding about the Oil and Gas exploration industry in much of the posting that talked only about the potential. I was not a commentator then. But reading back it seems many were convinced of not only a certain oil discovery, but indeed one to rival Akpo. Yet there's only been a few such discoveries in the entire Gulf of Guinea.

People should understand the risks of exploration in my oppinion and not think good results are guaranteed, especially unusually good results like Akpo. This business is exactly as the CEO Peter Ntephe stated, very high risk with potentially very high reward.
