Raj- in my opinion I would sell the option when you achieve a profit to your liking anytime between today and the exercise date. Too much can happen to that stock as well as any others. I have never exercised an option but sold with profit. The only time I took it to the date was when I was at a loss early on, never recovered and did not have a choice. Fortunately I opted out with profits most of the time or sold to cut my losses down. Only my opinion!
