Last night I uprooted the Beefsteak and the shoot I was trying to grow; the last couple of heat waves were just too much for them. I still had some herb seedlings sitting in my sprouter thingy, so I filled the pots with them. Better than nothing. We'll see if they take root, or if they get scorched too.

My jalapeño's catching a second wind, too. Has really a lot of little peppas and flowers. The other peppas are doing pretty well too.

And the Cherokee is still fine, probably because it's in a more shaded area. So there'll be more BLTs.
