I'm not one who subscribes to the theory that he has been dry drunk since his father forced him to stop drinking when he turned 40. I just find it difficult that he really found god.

If we look at when he stopped drinking it was because his father threatened to stop bailing him out of his financial failures unless he stopped drinking. It's no secret that he would not stop when Laura threatened to leave him but only when dad threaten to stop the dinero's. He needed a respectable reason other than that and religion has always been a convenient reason especially since his daddy was going to be President. Since he stopped drinking his daddy has certainly rewarded him by introducing him to "friends" who have helped him along the way. Bush43 is just a very shallow man who has no deep convictions and is easily swayed by the people surrounding him. Unfortunately it's people like Wolfawitz, Cheney, and Rumsfeld.
