Douglas Casey, writing in the Sept. 1, 2005, issue of his International Speculator, says Miranda Gold Corp. (then 96 cents) is on his list of 10 companies that junior resource speculators should own. Mr. Casey said buy in August, 2005, at 71 cents. An investment of $1,000 at that time would be worth $1,311 today. The U.S.-based letter writer says he likes all of his current Nevada plays, but if he had to pick only one, he would go with Miranda. The company has half the market cap of White Knight Resources Ltd. and five times as many projects as Bravo Venture Group Inc. He adds that his top 10 picks are the ones he would want to make sure he owns before the news starts picking up this fall.
