Cono Italiano's main goal was to find a facility in which to manufacture the products and help with distribution.
The cost of manufacturing the product has already been indicated in earlier postings. There is a formal contract on file with Interstate Caterers to assist with manufacturing and distribution. That's all there has ever been.
Probably some Cones were offered from the trucks in the beginning for taste testing.
With the costs of equipment, etc. even the trucks would not pay the freight. Especially in the colder New Jersey months the trucks lose a lot of outside stops anyway.
IMO the products will be FROZEN PRODUCTS cooked when needed. This is where the big money will come from, I think.
Why anyone would put faith in making a score in some trucks and boardwalk sales is beyond me anyway.
This is a gross manufacturing product that will be sold in the thousands per order, IMO and that's what I hope to see!
