Zeev, What do I know with 15 summer course credits (+6 more) from Georgian Court, but I know all Christians do not believe you can commit any atrocity but "believe" and be "saved". Many, if not most believe, if you are "good" you are saved - I thought.

Jesus stood for some really awesome things, like kindness, goodness, and charity, etc. It has always been my impression that this is what real Christianity is about, tho it has been perverted by many thru out history.

I have also heard a story about Jesus and the Leppers, and others who were socially outcasted. I think the message was love and acceptance and other virtues. We can say homosexuals have been outcasted thru out history too. To promote bias against homosexuals or others is immoral, imo, and un-Christian. There are Biblical Laws against homosexual acts, but there are also laws against maligning other people.

But what do I know from spending limited time at a Catholic Liberal Arts School?... There seems to be huge diversity within Christianity, and some on the Right don't consider Catholic to be Christian or "saved", because of NT interpretation - or something. I am not comfortable with the political influence of the Christian Right.
