article refers to the statewide initiative....This concerns only Detroit...It was suppose to be on the 2010 ballot....but well it's Michigan and the court had to tell them to put it back on....What's interesting is the last two lines where it seems they are referring to the Detroit vote...

Detroiters will still be able to vote in November on an initiative to decriminalize the possession of small amounts of marijuana on private property.

But it says November not August....maybe things changed...I've been a bit out-of-touch of late.
