Baxter got many MNTA compounds for didley squat $$$ up front....and confirmed yesterday...two more for free.

There’s only one new compound in the BAX-MNTA collaboration (there are now three compounds and there were two already) and it’s not “free”; rather, BAX will pay MNTA a fee if/when it exercises the option to license the compound.

another reason Bax won't be buying out MNTA

Actually, I think BAX is quite likely to make a buyout bid for MNTA during the next 18 months.
