KCG (3.01) Knight Capital is at risk of bankruptcy .... it's sad to think that a prestigious Wall Street firm could be brought down in a matter of minutes by a software bug.

I cringe to think that their software platform was so deficient as to allow a newly introduced program to issue huge volumes of errant trades for a period of 45 minutes ! Not to mention, what happened to human oversight ??? Traders on the NYSE floor knew there were glaring problems within a minute after the market opened.
