Rate hikeS?...the lowest cost horse, cattle, or hog feed supplement is already up about 20% in 2012 for some reason...pre-drought pricing... Fertilizer prices are up 100% or more since their post 2008 lows... Many of those prices only slowly trinkle into food cost inflation... The drought effect is going to be a lot quicker to food inflation... Rate hikes could come into play with the inflationary spike possible... Hey, it may not matter to equity investments tomorrow...LJ
