well, you can't defend against it because you are supporting a secretive, slimy hedge fund manager who won't release his tax records. It is like hey, i am a kick-ass businessman, but offer no proof and by the way, i won't offer any proof, just trust me. You support him as a businessman yet you have no evidence of his performance other than press releases from Bain from employees under gag orders.
