RE: SEC leaked news of suspension to Scottrade...
"The SEC notified Scottrade prior to August 30, 2005 of the trading suspension on BCIT. We acted accordingly to the SEC suspension and notification."
Now, there's something in that sentence that's been gnawing at me. If Scottrade knew about the suspension, WHY DID THEY HALT BUYS AND SELLS EARLY?
Why not just let the SEC handle it in a few day's time?
This letter seems to infer, "well, our policy, whenever we receive a leak about an impending suspension, is to halt the stock ourselves first."
WTF? Questions and no answers...
