Thats one of my probelems with F1. There seems to be no control on how much the teams can add to the car to make it win. The same team wins too often.
The other is the race is over after a lap or two. Passing is rare in F1. Crashes are rare. Schmacher(sp) said American racing is too dangerous. Hey thats what it all about as they say in my neck of the woods :).
I prefer the risk the driver has to take to win. Not getting the win in the garage. My favorite is IRL but it has a rather small following.
I'm sure to see one of these historic races in person would be a great memory. I'd would like to do that sometime. But the broadcast are just pretty boaring.
Just my opinion and preferences. But I'm glad you a fan of the sport.
