I had a great conversation with the owner of the boat
Gail Warnings II from Bar Harbor, Maine. I installed a
WC9000 about 2 months ago. He ordered the unit because his engine ran so dirty. He was tiered of breathing the soot.
Said today the engine is running much cleaner, oil is cleaner, and the air filter on the engine feeding the turbo is half as dirty as
before. He has not had an accurate reading on the fuel savings, but
he figures with all the other positive things he is seeing there must be fuel savings too. It was more important to have the cleaner burn as it was effecting his breathing.
I know we can't claim it, but it sure feels good to think we might
be helping someone live longer while they are working at the only job they have ever done.
Maybe saving fuel will become the secondary benefit to having cleaner air and water. There are studies showing
the soot from all these diesels add to the pollution found in the ocean and adversely effect sea life.
