OtherDog, so far on the surface I cannot find the glitch, but there has to be one, airtime is not free and it would have to be in this case. It could be that the device only works on GPRS only and not SMS. GPRS can be very cheap but coverage is limited. Also, to use the 911 service you must contact a carrier of GSM (Cingular, AT&T, T-Mobile) and this charge would be extra, not sure how much, but will find out. Also, the big accounts of which you speak will go right to the source and bypass Now. That source is http://www.mobilegpstechnologies.com/index.html This Company is where Now is getting product, and they (Now) do not have anything close to an exclusive agreement for this product, so far I've found about 10 other distributors, one of them right down the street from Navicom. Big companies will probably go right to the manufacturer, and bypass Mobile GPS Technologies. So don’t’ look for any big orders. Plus, this product is still well above retail price break points for the shrink wrapper’s like Walmart and Best Buy, but it’s a start. Just don’t look for Now used cars to ever be in the same room with the Walton’s negotiating a deal. Dog
