HA +.01 to 6.74 Hawaiian Airlines is adding capacity faster than any domestic airline. They also announced today they are going to fly to New Zealand in 2013 and will be the only US carrier serving Auckland.

Hawaiian has the best on time record for US airlines and is expanding capacity and routes. In spite of all the bad news, they are thriving. Q2 and 3 should be excellent.

Hawaiian Airlines on Monday will increase its service between Honolulu and Seoul, South Korea, to daily flights.
The Honolulu-based airline, which began flying on the route in January, had been flying four flights per week.
The additional three flights per week will add more than 40,000 new air seats on the Honolulu-Seoul route, Hawaiian, a subsidiary of Hawaiian Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: HA) said in a statement.
“Demand for our Korea service grew steadily over its first year as we expected, and we couldn’t be more pleased about expanding to daily service and the increasing benefits this will bring to Hawaii’s visitor industry,” Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Peter Ingram said in a statement.
Hawaiian is currently using its 264-passenger Boeing 767-300ER aircraft on the route but plans to switch to the 294-seat Airbus A330-200 at a later date.
