It is an opportunistic political movement, imo. The Ralph Reed group, or "Christian Coalition", is very influential in D.C. - fed'l gov, and in some state govs. Not NJ tho, I don't think. I don't think the "ideology" would be accepted by the NJ mainstream, but who knows..... They say the North East is "liberal"... :)
