I agree.

Didn't Celsius try this with Mario? Wasn't he going to be promoting it all over? How did that work out?

Once you resort to selling your product through infomercials, especially a low margin one like Celsius (Little's "Gazelle" was almost $200), I'd say it's a desperation move.
