At the last job, I was lucky-enough to be able to set my own hours in the summer-time.
....On the job at first-light...open the "OverHead-Doors" on the shop if the morning air was cool, set fans (BIG FANS!) to pull warm-air out one-way, pull cool-air in the other.
When the sun got up where it was shining-in, pull the doors down, or 3/4's down to block sun. Skipped lunch, usually, no appetite in hot weather...lotsa fluids...fans right on my work-area.
Start @ 4:30, work 'till 1:30..sometimes 2'o clock.
