The part I do not understand why would this not be a recommend practice? Is this not saying "God I'll trust in you a little bit, but if you can't help me, then I will still have my other groups to help"? I find that I believe that God spoke this world into exsistance and everything else for Him to do is a walk in the park.
I don't know for sure because he didn't explain the reasons why for his statement.

Yes, I agree with you we need to rely totally on God but support groups which I really don't like the name..............I'd rather they be ACCOUNTABILITY groups.
Maybe that is what he was talking about?
We need to have other Godly people along side us who yes they support us but what I think is MUCH more important they are there in a LOVING way keeping us accountable.
