There is a school of thought that the U.S. Constitution is a flawed document and the Bill of Rights should be our revered document...Some argue that the authors of the Constitution, in an effort to win cooperation from Southern states, struck a compromise with leaders in the Southern states and included the term "property" in the Constitution when referring to negros.
