Well, Foster Care is what I did, but with the Elderly & Mentally Challenged. I was paid once a month. The agency I worked for is state funded as is with Child Foster Care. My last client Melissa, who had many mental challenges, but was a joy to have here, but it was her MOTHER I could not deal with, and that's why she left. This pook kid has bounced from home to home, because nobody could handle the MOTHER, and that's why the 2 of them can't live together. For Melissa, I was paid a little over 2700.00 per month, it all depends on how many day's their are in the month, as my rates were billed on a daily basis. So imagine if I had 2 Clients here. Thats 5400.00 per month. It's 100% Tax Exempt. So if someone took home 5400.00, and were taxed, they would Gross about 7100.00 per month, or as many are paid bi-weekly, the Gross amount would be around $3550.00 , Bi-weekly. Now think about when you were talking 911 calls. Did you ever gross that much ?? It's no different than adding family members to your home, as they DO become a part of your Family..... Now in my area, I was told that Child foster care pay's about 2300.00 per child, and there are really no limits as to how many kid's one could have. It all depends on the size of the home..but if you are new to this, I'm sure they would not place 4 or more kid's in a home all at once.... YIKES...

There is so much Joy that comes out of it... {:>)))
