German Stocks Decline for Second Day, Led by Allianz, HVB Group
Sept. 13 (Bloomberg) -- German stocks declined for a second day. Allianz AG, Europe's largest insurer, and HVB Group, Germany's second-biggest bank by market value, led losses.
The DAX Index decreased 20.97, or 0.4 percent, to 4969.01 as of 9:32 a.m. in Frankfurt.
Allianz fell 1.4 percent to 104.01 euros, extending yesterday's 3.3 percent drop. HVB slipped 0.9 percent to 23.38 euros.
