wampuscat - at one time CLYW was a member of Wi-Fi Alliance.

much to some members of this forum surprise that think to pay for alliance forum membership is somehow selling your self out. quite the contrary. it builds and sends a message to the large network carriers that you, as a company with a product, mean business,...literally.

FYI, the cost for membership in WFA is $25,000. but CLYW did not renew their membership.

CLYW never submitted a product for review, while they were a member, for interoperability of the IEEE 802.11. for what reason one can only speculate. but the obvious one is they had no product to submit only a patent. and WFA does not give their Seal of Approval to a patent. not that it is not valid, but that they

invest at your own risk, based on your own due diligence, at your own risk tolerance
